What types of jazz musician are available to hire for weddings?

Jazz options range from soloists and duos to big ensembles, with a wide selection of instruments available. The most popular choices are piano, guitar, double bass, saxophone and vocals. I also have drummers, trumpeters, and trombonists, adding plenty of variety.

Jazz is so flexible I can find something to suit virtually any space. Whether you’re having a small, intimate wedding, or a huge event, I can put together the perfect jazz ensemble for you.

I’ll want to know all about you, your taste in music and what songs you want to hear on the day. I need to find out what your venue is like, and how many guests you’re having. Most importantly, I want to know what kind of atmosphere you want to create across different parts of the day. What kind of experience do you want your guests to have?

Book my Overture Package and we’ll talk through all these things (though don’t worry if you don’t know all the answers immediately!) Once I’ve built up a picture of your wedding day, I’ll put together some tailor-made recommendations for you and guide you in your decision.

How much do jazz musicians for weddings cost?

Prices vary according to how many musicians you book, length of booking, travel distance, equipment needed, and various other factors.

They range from £565 for a single musician for one hour to £3,000+ for a larger ensemble for up to six hours.

There are options to suit most budgets. Each of my artists has a fixed fee structure – they don’t change the price for different customers. You can be sure you’re getting a fair price based on the quality of the musicians, not based on pre-conceptions about wedding budgets.

Unlike many agencies, I also don’t charge commission. Each of my packages has a fixed fee based on the services I provide.
